SPRING is here!
Healthwise welcomes spring with open arms. We are filled with motivation, wanting to flush away the cobwebs gathered over winter. A great time of year to spring clean, not only your environment, but also your body and mind.
Energetically spring is related to the free flow of energy throughout the body. It allows us to feel motivated and activated. It's about blooming, renewal and new life. After the contemplation phase over the cooler months, now it's time for action.
MOVE
Moving is the best thing to keep energy flowing, you don't have to join a gym to stretch, dance or walk, but you could check out that local boot camp you see on your way home from work. Why not swap that Saturday night BBQ with friends for a picnic in the park and take the cricket set and frisbee.
INVOKE CHANGE
Try something new, invoke change in your life and get outdoors, experiencing as much as you can. See some live music, walk that hiking track you keep talking about, enrol in a course or educate yourself to make better and healthier eating choices.
SING
Sing everywhere. Sing in the car. Sing in the shower. Sing while you cook the kid's dinner. Sing Sing Sing!
DETOX
Detoxing is a great way to move unwanted blocked energy by adding acupuncture treatments or a detox tea to help your body to feel fresh and clean for the coming bright months.
