Mocha Coconut Top Deck Protein Bliss Balls

Bliss Balls 

This is the best bliss ball ever! Its so quick to make and they last ages in the fridge or freezer. 

Chocolate Layer Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • 1 shot of expresso coffee
  • 1 tablespoon of maca powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa or carob powder
  • 1 tbs black sesame paste (I found in a Japanese supermarket)

White Layer Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 1/2 tbs of white tahini

Topping 

  • 1/4 cup coconut

Method:

  1. Mix Layers seperately in a blender or food processor 
  2. They should be of a paste consistency 
  3. Roll white layer first (approx 1/2 tbs) into a ball
  4. Then gently coat with chocolate layer around the outside to form a ball
  5. Coat with coconut
  6. Refrigerate for 1 hour
  7. Best eaten the following day for strong coffee flavour
